In March 2026, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, traveled to France to strengthen diplomatic ties.

During the session, Minister Anand collaborated with global counterparts on urgent matters, including the conflict in Ukraine, stability in the Middle East, and regional crises in Sudan and Haiti.

Beyond the G7 agenda, Minister Anand also met with the Secretary General of La Francophonie in Paris.
