アフリカ連合（AU）は、未成年者の搾取に対し、断固たる姿勢を示しており、個々の国の取り組みから、大陸全体で調整された戦略へと移行しています。
The African Union (AU) has taken a decisive stand against the exploitation of minors, moving from isolated national efforts to a coordinated, continental strategy.
AUはリスクの状況の変化を認識し、現在では児童労働のような従来の課題と、現代のデジタル脅威の双方に対処しています。
Recognizing the shifting landscape of risks, the AU now addresses both traditional challenges like child labor and modern digital threats.
2019年には、画期的な出来事として、AUはアディスアベバにて、オンライン上での性的搾取の増加する危険に対処するため、世界サミットを主催しました。
A landmark moment occurred in 2019 when the AU hosted a global summit in Addis Ababa to tackle the rising danger of online sexual exploitation.
これを受けて、2020年のAUサミットでは、2030年までに強制労働と人身売買を撲滅することを目指した「10年行動計画」が承認され、世界の持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）と一致しました。
Following this, the 2020 AU Summit solidified a Ten-Year Action Plan aimed at eradicating forced labor and human trafficking by 2030, aligning with global Sustainable Development Goals.
これらの取り組みの基盤となっているのは、「アフリカ児童の権利と福祉に関する憲章」であり、これが現在の政策や法的整合性を導いています。
The foundation for these efforts remains the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, which guides current policy and legal harmonization.
これらの目標を「アジェンダ2063」や「銃の沈黙」イニシアチブに統合することで、AUは子どもの保護が地域の平和や開発と切り離せないものであることを強調しています。
By integrating these goals into its "Agenda 2063" and "Silencing the Guns" initiatives, the AU emphasizes that child protection is inseparable from regional peace and development.
法の執行強化、能力構築、そして国際的なパートナーシップを通じ、AUは、脅威が物理的であろうとオンライン上であろうと、大陸全土のすべての子どもが組織的な虐待や搾取から守られて成長できるよう取り組んでいます。
Through enhanced legal enforcement, capacity building, and international partnerships, the AU is working to ensure that every child across the continent can grow up safe from systemic abuse and exploitation, regardless of whether the threats are physical or online.
