2026年4月1日より、カナダは渡航書類サービスにおける大きな変更、「30日以内の処理、さもなければ無料」という保証を導入しました。
Starting April 1, 2026, Canada introduced a major change to travel document services: the "30 days or free" guarantee.
標準的なパスポートの申請が30営業日以内に処理されなかった場合、政府は自動的に全額返金を行います。
If a standard passport application is not processed within 30 business days, the government will issue an automatic full refund.
興味深いことに、この保証は2013年以来初となるパスポート手数料の改定（値上げ）と同時に実施されました。
