2026年半ば、ネットフリックスはインドのクリエイティブ分野への取り組みを深め、2つの大きな人材開発プログラムを開始しました。
In mid-2026, Netflix deepened its commitment to India’s creative sector by launching two major talent development programs.
これらの取り組みは、インドの次世代のストーリーテラーや技術専門家を育成し、同国で高まりを見せる「オレンジ・エコノミー」と足並みをそろえることを目的としています。
These initiatives aim to nurture the next generation of Indian storytellers and technical experts, aligning with the country’s growing 'Orange Economy.'
共同CEOのテッド・サランドス氏が発表した「ネットフリックス・インド・ストーリーテリング・イニシアチブ」は、アニメーション、VFX（視覚効果）、ゲーム、コミック（AVGC）分野に焦点を当てています。
The Netflix India Storytelling Initiative, announced by Co-CEO Ted Sarandos, focuses on the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sector.
ネットフリックスはインド・クリエイティブ・テクノロジー研究所と提携し、専門的なトレーニングのために100名の奨学生を募集するほか、インド国立映画開発公社とも協力し、音声解説やボイスアーティストのトレーニングを通じてコンテンツのアクセシビリティを向上させます。
In partnership with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies, Netflix is offering 100 scholarships for specialized training, alongside a collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation to improve content accessibility through audio-description and voice-artist training.
これに加えて「ネクストジェン・インド・ライターズ・プログラム」では、新進の脚本家に対し2ヶ月のメンターシップと実技ワークショップを提供し、プロ仕様のシリーズ構成案の作成を支援します。
Complementing this is the NextGen India Writers’ Program, which provides emerging screenwriters with two months of mentorship and hands-on workshops to help them develop professional series bibles.

These initiatives also align with government goals, such as the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision, signaling a long-term investment in India's role as a global powerhouse for high-quality entertainment production.
