As of April 2026, the Department of Public Works and Highways has officially awarded the contract for the Boracay Bridge project to San Miguel Holdings Corp.
2026年4月時点で、公共事業道路省はボラカイ橋プロジェクトの契約をサン・ミゲル・ホールディングス・コーポレーション（SMHC）に正式に発注しました。
This 2.54-kilometer bridge system will link Boracay Island to the Panay mainland.

With an investment of ₱7.78 billion, the bridge aims to provide all-weather access, improve emergency services, and support essential utility lines.
