The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), in partnership with the Maharashtra government, has announced ambitious plans to build a massive 100,000-seat cricket stadium in Navi Mumbai.
ムンバイ・クリケット協会（MCA）はマハーラーシュトラ州政府と提携し、ナビムンバイに10万人収容の巨大なクリケットスタジアムを建設するという野心的な計画を発表しました。
Currently, the historic Wankhede Stadium holds only about 33,000 spectators, which is no longer enough for big events like IPL playoffs or international ICC tournaments.
現在、歴史あるヴァンケデ・スタジアムの収容人数は約3万3,000人にとどまっており、IPLのプレーオフや国際的なICCトーナメントなどの大きなイベントにはもはや不十分です。
Navi Mumbai was chosen for this project because of its modern infrastructure and its close proximity to the new international airport.
