On July 16, 2026, Serbia officially became the 69th nation to join the Artemis Accords, an international framework dedicated to peaceful and sustainable lunar exploration.

The signing ceremony, held at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., featured Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić and NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson.
