Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is stepping away from the big screen to make his theatrical debut.
He is currently writing and directing a new stage play titled The Popinjay Cavalier, which is set to premiere in London’s West End in the spring of 2027.
The production stars Sacha Baron Cohen in the title role, marking his debut on the prestigious London stage.
Described as a rambunctious comedy of deception and disguise, the play is inspired by swashbuckling epics.
To prepare for this transition, Tarantino has moved his family to England to focus entirely on the project.
It is an exciting new chapter for both the director and the star.
