Starting in June 2026, drivers in Ontario will notice a significant change on the road.

The provincial government is officially raising speed limits from 100 km/h to 110 km/h across a massive portion of the highway network.

By the end of September 2026, nearly 89% of Ontario's provincial highways will feature this higher limit, up from just 43% previously.
