The Star Wars universe has expanded with the premiere of the new animated series, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, which arrived on Disney+ on April 6, 2026.

Set one year after the events of The Clone Wars, the show follows the iconic villain, Maul, as he travels to the lawless, neon-lit planet of Janix.
