On April 27, 2026, India and New Zealand officially signed a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in New Delhi.
2026年4月27日，印度與紐西蘭在新德里正式簽署了一項具里程碑意義的自由貿易協定（FTA）。
Negotiations were impressively swift, concluding in just nine months.
談判進展極為迅速，僅在九個月內便告完成。
The agreement offers India near-total duty-free access to the New Zealand market, benefiting sectors like textiles, pharmaceuticals, and engineering.
該協定為印度提供了進入紐西蘭市場近乎全面的免關稅准入，使紡織品、藥品和工程等產業受益。
Conversely, India has granted tariff reductions on 95% of New Zealand's current exports, boosting trade in agricultural products like apples, kiwifruit, and wool.
反之，印度也對紐西蘭目前95%的出口商品給予關稅減免，藉此促進蘋果、奇異果和羊毛等農產品的貿易。
Beyond goods, the deal features a significant $20 billion investment commitment from New Zealand into India over the next 15 years.
除貨物貿易外，該協議還包含紐西蘭承諾在未來15年內對印度進行總額200億美元的重大投資。
Strategically, this pact helps India diversify its trade, while it supports New Zealand's goal to double its export value by accessing a rapidly growing economy.
在戰略層面上，此協定有助於印度實現貿易多元化，同時也支持紐西蘭透過進入一個快速成長的經濟體，實現其出口價值翻倍的目標。
While signed, the agreement must now undergo a parliamentary examination and public consultation process in New Zealand, which is expected to take at least six months before full ratification.
雖然協定已經簽署，但目前仍須在紐西蘭進行議會審查和公眾諮詢程序，預計在完全批准前至少還需耗時六個月。
