A serious health crisis is unfolding in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) as an Ebola outbreak continues to spread.

As of mid-July, the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified the situation as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, reporting over 2,100 cases and 828 deaths.
