The beloved classic series 'Go Forward' (originally 'Massugu ni Ikō') has finally arrived on the streaming platform SkySetTV.
Released on August 18, 2026, this debut marks exactly 23 years since its original Japanese premiere.
Based on Kira’s long-running manga, the show offers a unique perspective on life through the eyes of Mametaro, a mixed-breed dog.
The series follows his adventures with his owner, Ikuko, and explores his protective feelings toward her boyfriend, Akiyoshi.
Viewers can enjoy both seasons—covering the original four episodes and the five-part 'Melon Pan-hen' series—with either the original Japanese audio and subtitles or a brand-new English dub.
To celebrate, SkySet hosted a special screening and Q&A at Anime NYC on August 22, and fans can look forward to exclusive cast commentary and interviews arriving in early September.
Whether you are a fan of classic anime or looking for a heartwarming new story, 'Go Forward' is a must-watch addition to your streaming list.
