On September 29, 2026, Morocco reached a historic milestone as King Mohammed VI appointed Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri as the country's first female Prime Minister.

This appointment followed the parliamentary elections on September 23, where her party, the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), secured 97 seats.
