Disney has officially renewed its hit sports fantasy series, Dragon Striker, for a second season.

The announcement was made during a special panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, where creators Sylvain Dos Santos and Charles Lefebvre shared a first look at the new season.

The show, an American-French collaboration, is set in a vibrant world where soccer and magic collide.

It follows Key, a farm boy with dragon-like powers, and his teammate Ssyelle as they lead the underdog 'Knights' soccer team.
