As of late September 2026, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is facing a dire health crisis as Ebola cases have surged past 8,000.
目前確診病例為8,067例，死亡人數達3,901人，此次疫情的死亡率已接近48%。
With 8,067 confirmed cases and 3,901 deaths, the outbreak has reached a mortality rate of nearly 48%.
這場緊急狀況是由邦迪布焦病毒所引起，這是一種罕見的病毒株，目前醫療專業人員尚無針對此病毒的疫苗或治療方法。
This particular emergency is caused by the Bundibugyo virus, a rare strain for which medical professionals currently have no specific vaccines or treatments.

The virus has spread across 63 health zones in seven provinces, with Ituri and North Kivu being the most severely affected.
