2026年6月，澳洲與越南在雙邊關係中開啟了令人振奮的新篇章，推出了「澳洲—越南科學、技術與創新合作倡議」(AVSTICI)。
In June 2026, Australia and Vietnam launched an exciting new chapter in their bilateral relationship with the Australia–Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Initiative (AVSTICI).
這項試點計畫旨在透過促進兩國大學、產業合作夥伴及研究機構之間的協作，來彌合研究與實際應用之間的鴻溝。
This pilot program aims to bridge the gap between research and real-world application by fostering collaboration between universities, industry partners, and research institutions in both nations.
在「澳洲—越南全面戰略夥伴關係」的支持下，該倡議提供了130萬澳元的資金，以推動三個關鍵領域的進展：新能源與可再生技術、永續藍色經濟以及廢棄物管理。
Supported by the Australia–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the initiative provides A$1.3 million in funding to drive progress in three critical areas: new and renewable technologies, the sustainable blue economy, and waste management.
澳洲組織可申請10萬至30萬澳元的補助金，用於期限最長為三年的專案。
Australian organizations can apply for grants ranging from A$100,000 to A$300,000 for projects lasting up to three years.

Administered by the Australian Academy of Science, the program requires applicants to partner with a Vietnamese counterpart, ensuring that research efforts are truly collaborative.
