In an unexpected turn of events, Nova Scotia-based mobile game developer Alpha Dog Games has officially regained its independence.
這家因熱門遊戲《Mighty Doom》而聞名的工作室，最早於2012年創立，後於2019年被 Bethesda Softworks 收購，並成為微軟 Xbox Game Studios 的一部分。
The studio, famous for the popular title Mighty Doom, was originally founded in 2012 before being acquired by Bethesda Softworks in 2019 and later becoming part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios.
然而，在2024年5月一場規模宏大的企業重組後，微軟關閉了該工作室。
However, following a massive corporate restructuring in May 2024, Microsoft shut the studio down.
如今，僅僅兩年後，創辦人 Shawn Woods 與 Jeff Cameron 已成功買回了這家公司。
Now, just two years later, founders Shawn Woods and Jeff Cameron have successfully reacquired the company.

Woods recently confirmed the studio’s status as once again being independently owned.
