New Motorcycle Helmet Standards Introduced in Jamaica
2026年3月下旬，牙買加標準局（Bureau of Standards Jamaica, BSJ）引進了JS 374:2025標準，旨在解決大量與摩托車相關的頭部損傷問題。
In late March 2026, the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) introduced the JS 374:2025 standard to tackle the high number of motorcycle-related head injuries.
牙買加標準局（BSJ）並未設定孤立的要求，而是正式認可了五大國際認證：ECE、DOT、BS、JIS和SNELL。
Instead of setting isolated requirements, the BSJ now formally recognizes five major international certifications: ECE, DOT, BS, JIS, and SNELL.
透過為牙買加海關署（Jamaica Customs Agency）和警方提供明確的指導方針，當局現在能夠更好地規範進口商品與零售銷售。
By providing clear guidelines to the Jamaica Customs Agency and police, authorities can now better regulate both imports and retail sales.
此外，牙買加（Jamaica）計畫建立一個區域性測試實驗室，以長期支持這些安全目標。
Furthermore, Jamaica plans to build a regional testing laboratory to support these safety goals long-term.
