スリランカ政府は、国家の医療システムを再活性化させるための重要な一歩として、2026年6月の時点で25の主要な病院インフラプロジェクトを正式に再開しました。
In a significant move to revitalize the national healthcare system, the Sri Lankan government has officially restarted 25 major hospital infrastructure projects as of June 2026.
これらの取り組みは元々2014年から2024年の間に開始されましたが、世界的なパンデミックや国家的な経済的課題のために中断されていました。
These initiatives, originally launched between 2014 and 2024, had been halted due to the global pandemic and national economic challenges.

Nalinda Jayatissa, the government has committed an investment of Rs. 76 billion to complete these facilities over a three-year period.
主要なランドマークとしては、レディ・リッジウェイ病院の「リトル・ハーツ」心臓ユニットや、キャンディ国立病院の拡張が挙げられます。
The program includes the completion of vital infrastructure such as cancer treatment centers, maternal and child health units, cardiac care facilities, and modern surgical complexes.
