2026年9月8日、Riot Gamesは、2対2のタッグチーム格闘ゲーム『2XKO』にとって最後となる大型アップデート、パッチ1.3.1をリリースしました。
On September 8, 2026, Riot Games released Patch 1.3.1, the final major update for its 2v2 tag-team fighting game, 2XKO.
今回のアップデートでは、空中での機動力と飛び道具によるゾーニングで知られる多才なメイジ、ラックスが追加され、プレイヤーに新鮮な戦闘体験をもたらします。
The update introduces Lux, a versatile mage known for her aerial mobility and projectile zoning, providing players with a fresh combat experience.
また、PVEモード「ザ・クライム」にも大幅な改善が加えられ、エキスパートやプロの難易度設定が導入されたほか、さらなる挑戦を求めるプレイヤー向けに「アセンション」モードも追加されました。
Significant improvements have also been made to the PVE 'The Climb' mode, which now features Expert and Pro difficulty settings, along with an 'Ascension' mode for those seeking a greater challenge.
重要な変更として、ゲームの進行システムが一新されました。
Importantly, the game’s progression system has been overhauled: all champions are now unlocked for everyone, and traditional monetization methods like the Battle Pass and Champion Tokens have been removed in favor of a simpler credit-based system.
すべてのチャンピオンが誰でも使用可能になったほか、バトルパスやチャンピオン・トークンといった従来の収益化手法が廃止され、よりシンプルなクレジットベースのシステムに変更されました。
Beyond the updates, Riot confirmed that while major development is wrapping up, 2XKO servers will stay online for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S players.
アップデート以外にも、Riotは、主要な開発は終了するものの、『2XKO』のサーバーはPC、PlayStation 5、Xbox Series X/Sのプレイヤーに向けて稼働し続けることを明言しました。
Although official active updates will cease, the competitive scene will thrive through community-led tournaments, ensuring that 2XKO remains a playable fixture for its dedicated fanbase long after the final balance patch.
公式のアップデートは終了しますが、コミュニティ主導のトーナメントを通じて競技シーンは今後も活発に続き、最後のバランス調整後も長くファンに親しまれる作品として存続することになります。
