2026年6月22日、モントリオールのコート・デ・ネージュこーと・で・ねーじゅ地区で、3人が死亡する悲劇的な銃撃事件が起きました。
On June 22, 2026, the Montreal neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges was shaken by a tragic shooting that left three people dead.
事態は、武装した容疑者が現場に到着した警察官を襲撃したことで急激に悪化しました。
The situation escalated quickly when an armed suspect ambushed arriving police officers.
悲しいことに、モントリオール警察（SPVM）のモハメド・ラミン・ベンレドゥアンもはめど・らみん・べんれどぅあん警官が公務中に殺害され、市民のマイケル・モシェ・ミズラヒまいける・もしぇ・みずらひさんも命を落としました。
Tragically, SPVM officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane was killed in the line of duty, and a civilian, Michael Moshe Mizrahi, also lost his life.
容疑者は交戦中に警察によって制圧されました。
The suspect was neutralized by law enforcement during the altercation.
現在、2人目の警察官が危篤状態であり、もう一人の市民も軽傷を負っていますが、当局は一般市民への危険はないことを確認しました。
While a second police officer remains in critical condition and another civilian sustained minor injuries, officials confirmed the public is no longer at risk.

Montreal Police Chief Fady Dagher expressed profound grief, and government leaders, including the Prime Minister, condemned the violence.
