2026年4月27日、インドとニュージーランドはニューデリーにおいて、画期的な自由貿易協定（FTA）に正式に署名しました。
On April 27, 2026, India and New Zealand officially signed a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in New Delhi.
交渉は極めて迅速に行われ、わずか9ヶ月で締結に至りました。
Negotiations were impressively swift, concluding in just nine months.
この協定により、インドはニュージーランド市場へのほぼ全面的な無関税アクセスを獲得し、繊維、医薬品、工学などの分野が恩恵を受けます。
The agreement offers India near-total duty-free access to the New Zealand market, benefiting sectors like textiles, pharmaceuticals, and engineering.
逆に、インドはニュージーランドの現在の輸出品の95%について関税引き下げを認め、リンゴ、キウイフルーツ、羊毛などの農産品の貿易を促進します。
Conversely, India has granted tariff reductions on 95% of New Zealand's current exports, boosting trade in agricultural products like apples, kiwifruit, and wool.
物品以外では、ニュージーランドが今後15年間で200億ドルをインドに投資するという大きな公約が含まれています。
Beyond goods, the deal features a significant $20 billion investment commitment from New Zealand into India over the next 15 years.
戦略的に、この協定はインドの貿易の多角化を助ける一方、急成長する経済へアクセスすることで輸出額を倍増させるというニュージーランドの目標を支援します。

署名は完了しましたが、ニュージーランド国内では今後、議会での審査と公的協議のプロセスを経る必要があり、完全な批准までには少なくとも6ヶ月かかると見込まれています。
While signed, the agreement must now undergo a parliamentary examination and public consultation process in New Zealand, which is expected to take at least six months before full ratification.
