2026年4月27日、インドとニュージーランドはニューデリーにおいて、画期的な自由貿易協定（FTA）に正式に署名しました。
On April 27, 2026, India and New Zealand officially signed a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in New Delhi.
全20章からなるこの歴史的な合意は、経済的な結びつきを深め、成長を促進することを目的としています。
This historic deal, spanning 20 chapters, aims to deepen economic ties and foster growth.
この協定の下で、ニュージーランドは繊維や皮革といったインドからの輸出品に対して無関税アクセスを提供します。
Under the pact, New Zealand will provide duty-free access for Indian exports like textiles and leather.
一方、インドはリンゴや木材を含むニュージーランド製品の95%の関税を削減する一方、自国の酪農セクターを保護します。
Meanwhile, India will reduce tariffs on 95% of New Zealand’s goods, including apples and timber, while protecting its dairy sector.
大きな目玉として、ニュージーランドは今後15年間でインドのインフラおよび技術分野へ200億米ドル規模の民間投資を促進することを約束しました。
A major highlight is New Zealand's commitment to facilitate US$20 billion in private investment into India’s infrastructure and technology over the next 15 years.
さらに、この協定はサービス産業の成長を促進し、専門職ビザの新規枠やワーキングホリデー制度を導入するなど、労働移動を拡大します。
Furthermore, the agreement promotes service sector growth and increases labor mobility, including a new quota for professional visas and a working holiday scheme.
インドのピユシュ・ゴヤル商務大臣とニュージーランドのトッド・マクレイ貿易大臣は、この取引を長期にわたる二国間協力の不可欠な一歩として称賛しました。
Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and New Zealand Trade Minister Todd McClay praised the deal as a vital step toward long-term bilateral cooperation.
