Vintedは直ちにこれらの疑いを否定し、「年齢」や「サイズ」といった項目は、おもちゃの対象年齢や製品の寸法を示すための標準的な機能であることを明らかにしました。
Vinted swiftly denied these allegations, clarifying that the 'age' and 'size' fields are standard features used to describe toy suitability or product dimensions.
同社は、人身売買の証拠は見つかっておらず、出品者を執拗に追及するような自警団的行為は、正当な安全対策を損なう可能性があると警告しました。
The company explained that no evidence of trafficking was found and warned that vigilante behavior—such as harassing sellers—could compromise legitimate safety efforts.
こうした説明にもかかわらず、フランスの検察当局は、世間の懸念が高まった際の標準的な手続きとして、PHAROSおよびOfminに正式な精査を付託しました。
Despite these explanations, French prosecutors referred the matter to PHAROS and Ofmin for an official review, a standard procedure when public concerns escalate.
