カナダは毎年、総督舞台芸術賞（GGPAA）を通じて、最も卓越した創造的な精神を称えています。
Every year, Canada celebrates its most remarkable creative minds through the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA).
1992年に設立されたこの権威ある賞は、カナダの文化的構造を豊かにした個人を称えるものです。
Established in 1992, these prestigious honors recognize individuals who have significantly enriched the country's cultural fabric.

The 2026 edition was a spectacular affair, with laureates honored in Ottawa during early June.
生涯芸術功労賞」の受賞者は、称賛された映画監督ジェームズ・キャメロン、先見の明のある舞台美術家スーザン・ベンソン、振付師シルヴァン・エマール、シンガーソングライターのダニエル・ラヴォワ、そして俳優兼活動家のトーニャ・ウィリアムズなど、多様な分野を代表する顔触れでした。
The Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award winners represented a diverse range of disciplines, including acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron, visionary set designer Susan Benson, choreographer Sylvain Émard, singer-songwriter Daniel Lavoie, and actor and activist Tonya Williams.

Other honors included the Ramon John Hnatyshyn Award for Voluntarism, given to Sae Hoon (Stan) Chung, and the National Arts Centre Award, presented to soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan.
