The Baki franchise is taking an unexpected turn.
2026年8月30日、人気スピンオフ漫画『刃牙外伝 烈海王は異世界転生しても一向に構わん！！』
On August 30, 2026, it was officially announced that the popular spinoff manga, Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh wa Isekai Tensei Shitemo Ikkō ni Kamawan!!, will be adapted into a TV anime series scheduled for 2027.
が2027年にテレビアニメ化されることが公式に発表されました。
The story follows fan-favorite character Retsu Kaioh, who is reincarnated into a fantasy world after his death in Baki-Dou.
物語は、『刃牙道』での死の後、異世界へ転生したファンに愛されるキャラクター、烈海王を追うものです。
Instead of traditional martial arts matches, Retsu must now prove the power of Chinese martial arts against magic, swords, and mythical creatures.
従来の格闘試合とは異なり、烈は魔法や剣、神話の生物を相手に、中国拳法の力を証明しなければなりません。
TMS Entertainment, the studio behind the previous Baki adaptations, will return to helm this project.
