Delhi recently made a splash on the global cultural stage by launching the inaugural International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD) 2026.
デリー観光輸送開発公社が主催したこの映画祭は、プラガティ・マイダーンの象徴的なバラト・マンダパムを主要会場として利用し、市内各地でも追加上映を行いました。
Organized by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, the festival utilized the iconic Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan as its primary venue, while hosting additional screenings throughout the city.
125本以上の映画が上映されたこの映画祭は、ムンバイやゴアといった拠点に対抗し、国際的な映画の目的地としてのデリーの存在感を高めることを目指しました。
With over 125 films featured, the festival aimed to boost Delhi’s presence as an international cinema destination, rivaling hubs like Mumbai and Goa.
エンターテインメントだけでなく、IFFDは「シネエクスチェンジ」などのネットワーキングの取り組みを通じ、クリエイティブ分野、特にAVGC産業の経済的成長に注力しました。
Beyond entertainment, the IFFD focused on the economic growth of the creative sector, particularly the AVGC industry, through networking initiatives like CineXchange.
また、女性の映画制作者を強調した「ハー・レンズ」プログラムで包摂性も推進しました。
It also championed inclusivity with the Her Lens program, which highlighted women filmmakers.
