In a major boost for scientific transparency, CERN has been selected to lead a new phase of Open Research Europe (ORE).
元々2021年に欧州委員会によって立ち上げられたOREは、研究者が商業的ジャーナルに関連する従来の料金を支払うことなく研究成果を共有できる場を提供しています。
Originally launched in 2021 by the European Commission, ORE provides a venue for researchers to share findings without the traditional fees associated with commercial journals.
CERN[セルン]は、Zenodo[ゼノド]のような大規模データプラットフォームの管理における深い専門知識を活かし、オープンソースソフトウェアを使用して技術的な基盤を提供します。
CERN will supply the technical backbone using open-source software, leveraging its deep expertise in managing large-scale data platforms like Zenodo.
この取り組みは、学術的コミュニケーションの管理を学術コミュニティの手に取り戻すことを目指すダイヤモンド・オープンアクセス運動と一致しています。
