Acclaimed director SS Rajamouli is currently shaping his most ambitious project yet, a global action-adventure epic titled Varanasi.
2027年4月7日に世界同時公開が予定されているこの映画には、マヘーシュ・バーブ、プリヤンカー・チョープラー・ジョナス、プリトヴィーラージ・スクマランといったスターが出演する。
Set for a worldwide release on April 7, 2027, the film features stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
実際の都市での撮影におけるロジスティクス上の複雑さを考慮し、ラージャマウリはハイデラバードにあるラモジ・フィルム・シティに約50億ルピーを投じ[とう]て、ヴァーラーナシーの実物大の精巧なレプリカを建設した。
Given the logistical complexity of shooting in the real city, Rajamouli invested approximately ₹50 crore to build an incredibly detailed, life-size replica of Varanasi at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

The film, which explores themes from Hindu mythology and time travel, is the first Indian production to be filmed in the 1.43:1 IMAX format.
1,000億〜1,300億ルピーという巨額の予算を投じたこの製作は、南極の遠隔地であるロス棚氷を含め[ふく]、世界中のロケ地に及ぶ[およ]ものとなる。
With a massive budget between ₹1,000–1,300 crore, the production spans global locations, including the remote Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica.
