The 2026 FIFA World Cup is reaching its grand conclusion at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
On Sunday, July 19, President Donald Trump will attend the final match between Spain and Argentina.
President Trump is expected to join FIFA President Gianni Infantino on the field to present the championship trophy, a role traditionally held by the host country's head of state.
Before the big game, the President will also host a special FIFA reception at Trump Tower in New York City on July 17.
His administration has highlighted the event as a major success for the United States.
While the atmosphere will be electric, notably absent will be Argentine President Javier Milei, who has chosen to watch the final from his home.
This historic match serves as the climax of a tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
