U.S. Grants $600 Million to Philippines for Healthcare Infrastructure

The United States recently committed a $600 million grant to the Philippines to strengthen its healthcare infrastructure.

This significant financial support, equivalent to approximately ‱36.95 billion, aims to foster a more resilient and self-reliant public health system.

Under the Strategic Objective Grant Agreement, the funding focuses on three primary goals: improving disease surveillance and response, enhancing integrated service delivery, and bolstering the government's capacity to manage and finance the health sector.
