On June 17, 2026, The Toy Association introduced the "Toy Desk," a new digital hub designed to transform how they support the U.S. toy industry.
Acting as a "concierge-level" service, the Toy Desk serves as a centralized digital gateway for over 900 member companies.
While often confused with "The Toy Building" in El Segundo, which provides a physical space for showrooms and meetings, the Toy Desk functions exclusively as an online resource.
To help launch this initiative, the association introduced "Gilbert," a mascot named after A.C.
Gilbert, the inventor of the classic Erector Set and a founding father of the organization.
This launch is just the first step in a larger plan to modernize member engagement, aiming to better support an industry that contributes over $155 billion to the U.S. economy annually.
By streamlining communication, The Toy Association continues to advocate for its members and promote the vital importance of play in development.
