The 2026 Tour Championship reached its thrilling conclusion on Sunday, August 30, at the historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
Scottie Scheffler emerged as the champion, securing both the tournament title and the prestigious 2026 FedExCup.
Entering the final round three strokes behind Viktor Hovland, Scheffler delivered a brilliant 66 to finish at 16-under par, ultimately winning by a three-shot margin.
This victory is historic, as it marks Scheffler’s second FedExCup title in three years and pushes him past Tiger Woods on the all-time PGA Tour career money list.
For the second consecutive year, the tournament utilized a traditional 72-hole stroke-play format, where all 30 competitors started at even par.
The elite field competed for a massive $40 million purse, with Scheffler taking home the $10 million first-place prize.
While Viktor Hovland finished in second place, Ryan Gerard rounded out the top three.
The tournament, held on a recently restored course, served as the grand finale of the 2026 PGA Tour season, capping off an exciting year of golf.
