Diablo IV expansion releases this week

The second major expansion for Diablo IV, titled "Lord of Hatred," officially launches on April 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM PDT.

Available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, the expansion introduces two powerful new classes: the defensive Paladin and the shadow-casting Warlock.

Players will head to the mysterious Skovos Isles to follow Neyrelle's quest to contain Mephisto.

High-level adventurers can test their mettle with the new "War Plans" system and an expanded 12-level Torment difficulty.

Even if you don't buy the expansion, all players will receive the 3.0.0 patch, which includes significant balance updates and a long-awaited loot filter.

Whether you are returning to face Mephisto or jumping in for the first time—with the previous expansion now bundled in—it is an exciting time to play.
