The Fable confirmed for a second season

Fans of the hit anime series The Fable have cause to celebrate!

Following the success of the first season, which aired throughout 2024, the show will continue to follow the journey of the legendary hitman Akira Sato, who attempts to live a quiet life in Osaka without resorting to violence.

Tezuka Productions is set to return to animate the series, with director Ryosuke Takahashi and series composer Yuya Takashima leading the core creative team.

While the primary voice cast is confirmed to reprise their roles, the production has tapped Yō Tsuji as the new music composer.

The new episodes will adapt the intense Yamaoka Arc, bringing more conspiracy and intrigue into the protagonist's life.

Based on Katsuhisa Minami’s acclaimed manga, which boasts over 25 million copies in circulation, the franchise continues to grow with sequels and spin-offs.

Although a specific release window is still to be announced, fans can look forward to more of the unique, dark, yet humorous tone that defined the first season on platforms like Disney+.
