Minnesota Lawmakers Race to Finish Final Legislative Session

As of April 10, 2026, the Minnesota Legislature is currently navigating the final stretch of its 2026 session.

The political environment is particularly challenging, as the Senate holds a narrow DFL majority while the House of Representatives is split 67–67, often leading to legislative gridlock.
