On April 10, 2026, the Alabama State University tennis program celebrated a milestone as Vic Maric and Senna Van Den Heuvel were named the SWAC Players of the Week.

For the men’s team, Vic Maric earned his honor after a resilient three-set victory against Troy University, showcasing his ability to compete at a high level despite the team's narrow loss.
男子チームのヴィック・マリッチ選手は、チームとしては僅差で敗れたものの、トロイ大学を相手に3セットにわたる粘り強い勝利を収め、高いレベルで戦う能力を証明してこの栄誉を受賞しました。
Meanwhile, the women’s team celebrated Senna Van Den Heuvel for her pivotal performance in a 4-1 win over Florida A&M.
一方、女子チームでは、フロリダA&M大学との試合で4-1の勝利に貢献したセンナ・ヴァン・デン・フーヴェル選手が称えられました。
Van Den Heuvel was instrumental, securing a doubles point alongside teammate Kesmat El Tawil and clinching the decisive match-ending point in singles play.
