Google Rolls Out Gemini Personal Intelligence Feature to All US Users

On March 17, 2026, Google announced that its powerful Personal Intelligence feature is now available to all personal account users in the United States.

Previously a paid-only perk, this AI capability lets Gemini synthesize data across your Google Workspace—including Gmail, Calendar, and Drive—as well as your media history from YouTube and Google Photos.

For instance, Gemini can now suggest products based on your past shopping habits, retrieve specific device repair steps from a saved receipt in your email, or build travel itineraries using flight details found in your inbox.

Google maintains that while Gemini uses this data to provide context, it does not use your private Gmail or Photos content to train its core models.
