Learn how to formulate hypothetical structures and condition-based responses in Chinese using 如果...就....

To construct "if... then..." conditional sentences in Chinese, the standard structure is 如果 (rúguǒ) ... 就 (jiù) ...:

如果 [Condition], [Subject] + 就 + [Result].
如果 can be placed before the subject or conditional clause, while 就 must appear directly before the main action or adjective in the result clause.

如果房間很冷，我就喝熱茶。

If the room is cold, I will drink hot tea.
