Saskatoon Hosts Third Annual Black Business Expo
Saskatoon Hosts Third Annual Black Business Expo
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Prairieland Park in Saskatoon hosted the third annual Saskatoon Black Business Expo.
Organized by the Saskatoon Black Business Network Inc.
(SBBN), the event—themed "Bigger, Bolder and Impactful"—celebrated Black excellence and entrepreneurship.
John Owojori and Tosin Fetuga designed the platform to break down systemic barriers, offering masterclasses that help entrepreneurs scale their ventures.
A significant boost arrived just days before the event, when the federal government announced $780,000 in funding through PrairiesCan to support a five-year program, including pitch competitions and mentorship.
As SBBN expands its reach across Saskatchewan through quarterly events, the Expo remains a centerpiece for building a resilient, inclusive economy.
