Terra Innovatum nears production phase for new modular reactor
Terra Innovatum (NASDAQ: NKLR) is reaching a major milestone in the energy sector as it transitions its SOLO™ Micro-Modular Reactor (SMR™) into a manufacturing execution phase as of April 2026.
This compact, 1 MWe modular reactor uses helium-gas cooling, which eliminates the risks associated with traditional water-based systems.
By adopting an asset-light, fabless manufacturing model, Terra Innovatum aims to scale production significantly with its partner, ATB Riva Calzoni.
With approximately 200 non-binding commitments already secured, the company is preparing for its first-of-a-kind deployment in Illinois by 2027.
