SpaceX has achieved a major milestone with its 14th Starship flight, marking a historic transition from test flights to full orbital operations.
Departing from Starbase, Texas, the mission successfully carried 26 next-generation Starlink Version 3 (V3) satellites into Earth orbit.
Each V3 satellite provides roughly ten times the bandwidth of its predecessors, significantly boosting global connectivity.
The flight plan included orbiting Earth six times at an altitude of 275 kilometers before completing a controlled reentry and splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
With the successful Super Heavy booster performance and orbital insertion, SpaceX moves one step closer to its goals of rapid reusability.
This achievement is critical for the future of space exploration, particularly for NASAβs Artemis program, which relies on Starship for upcoming lunar missions and, eventually, long-term voyages to Mars.
