On June 25, 2026, Ryman Hospitality Properties (RHP) announced it is exploring strategic partnerships for its Opry Entertainment Group (OEG).
With the rising global popularity of country music, RHP has hired Morgan Stanley & Co.
Currently, RHP owns a 70% stake in OEG, which includes iconic assets like the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium.
Executive Chairman Colin Reed explained that moving OEG outside of RHP’s Real Estate Investment Trust structure could better support the company’s long-term growth.
While media reports have hinted at a potential sale of the stake, RHP clarified that no formal agreements exist and no transaction is guaranteed.
The group’s portfolio, which also includes brands like Ole Red and Austin's ACL Live, continues to be a powerful force in the live entertainment industry, benefiting from strong consumer demand in the U.S. market.
