The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is set to host its most ambitious event yet in 2026, celebrating its 30th anniversary alongside the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA).
Running from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, the event is adopting an extended five-day format for the first time to better manage crowds and offer more gameplay opportunities.
Under the theme 'The Longest Five Days of Nonstop Play,' the show will feature 759 exhibitors, including industry giants like Sony, Capcom, and Sega.
While Nintendo will not be in attendance, fans can look forward to the 'SELECTED INDIE 80' program and a special influencer initiative featuring 30 creators.
As TGS continues its evolution from a trade-focused exhibition into a massive public festival, it remains a premier destination for global gaming culture, offering both physical experiences and online programs for fans worldwide.
