New HD-2D Game The Adventures of Elliot Launches Today

Today marks the exciting release of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the newest title in Square Enix’s renowned HD-2D series.

Developed by Team Asano and Claytechworks, this action role-playing game is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Unlike its predecessors like Octopath Traveler, this game swaps traditional turn-based battles for fast-paced, real-time hack-and-slash combat.

Players follow Elliot and his fairy companion, Faie, as they traverse the continent of Philabieldia.

Their mission is to travel through four ages to save the Kingdom of Huther from encroaching beast tribes.

A unique feature of the game is the co-op mode, allowing a second player to jump in as Faie to assist with combat and puzzles.
