The 2026 edition of WWE NXT Heatwave, held on August 30 at the Bert Ogden Arena in Texas, marked a historic night for professional wrestling.
This landmark event featured a massive shake-up of the brand's championship landscape, ushering in a fresh era for the roster.
Not only was the action intense, but the broadcast strategy made history as the first NXT Premium Live Event to stream on the ESPN App, alongside a traditional broadcast on The CW.
The night was defined by high-stakes matches and unexpected outcomes.
