Manon Field, a 2026 University of Minnesota graduate and former captain of the Golden Gophers rowing team, has reached a remarkable career milestone.
Field has been selected to represent Switzerland at the prestigious U23 World Championships, held from July 23โ26, 2026, at the Wedau Regatta Course in Duisburg, Germany.
During her collegiate career, she earned back-to-back All-Big Ten honors and led her team to 13 race victories.
Minnesota head coach Alicea Strodel praised Field's development, noting her evolution from a novice rower to an elite athlete.
Beyond her athletic success, Field holds a degree in Cellular and Organismal Physiology.
Hailing from Hudson, Wisconsin, she is one of nineteen Swiss athletes heading to Germany this summer.
