Major Fuel Price Drops Reported Across the Philippines

This significant shift follows an interim peace agreement between the United States and Iran, which has lowered global crude oil prices by easing tensions surrounding the critical Strait of Hormuz shipping route.

After experiencing price spikes that saw fuel costs nearing ₱150 per liter, citizens are finally seeing some breathing room as prices in many areas have dipped below ₱70 per liter.

The Department of Energy has confirmed that the country maintains a healthy fuel supply, sufficient for over 40 days, ensuring stability for the local economy.

While inflation concerns ease, Energy Secretary Sharon Garin urges the public to remain cautious.
