Kagurabachi Anime Adaptation Announced for 2027

The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's smash-hit manga, Kagurabachi, is officially arriving in April 2027.

Announced during the Jump Press livestream, the series will be produced by the animation studio Cypic.

Under the direction of industry veteran Tetsuya Takeuchi, known for his work on Naruto and Lycoris Recoil, the show promises a high-octane visual experience.

The story centers on Chihiro Rokuhira, who seeks vengeance against the Hishaku organization after they murder his father and steal six powerful Enchanted Blades.

Chihiro wields the final blade, Enten, in his quest for justice.

With lead character design by Keigo Sasaki and award-winning actor Taihi Kimura voicing Chihiro, the production is packed with talent.

Fans can look forward to a global promotional tour in 2026, featuring early screenings before the official 2027 premiere.

As major titles like Jujutsu Kaisen conclude, Kagurabachi is poised to become the next powerhouse in the shonen landscape.
